Impulse is the product of Force and Time. It's S.I. unit is kg-m/s

It is the product of a force(F) and the time(t) for which it acts. The impulse of a force acting for a short time interval is equal to the change in linear momentum produced over that interval.

I = F x t    its SI unit is N-s
