Required Answer:-

Incident ray:

• The ray of light which falls on the surface of mirror or strikes the surface of mirror is called incident ray.

• The angle formed by incident ray and normal to the surface is called angle of incidence.

• The point at which incident ray strikes, is called point of incidence.

Addition information:-

Reflected ray:

• The ray of light that bounced back after striking the surface is called reflected ray.

• The angle made by reflected ray and the normal to the surface is called angle of reflection.

There are 2 laws of reflection:

• First law States that incident ray, reflected ray and normal to the surface they all lie on the same plane.

• According to the second law of reflection, angle of incidence is always equal to angle of reflection under every condition.

These 2 laws of reflection will be followed by ray of light no matters what the surface is.
