The pair of linear equations which does not have any solution is called as inconsistent pair of linear equations

e.g.2x-3y=8;4x-6y=9

The pair of linear equations which have atleast one solution is called as consistent pair of linear equations.

e.g.3x+2y=5;2x-3y=7
