The substance which give different colour by acid or Base. eg. (Litmus paper and turmeric) its colour is depend on chosen indicator. Like if you dip a litmus in a acid it gives you blue. Colour with acid and red with Base.

2. Phenolphthalein- it turns colourless in acids and turns pink in base .
3. Methyl orange- it turns red in acids and yellow in base .
4. Universal indicator- universal indicator turns out to be red orange or yellow in acids and light blue and dark blue in base .
