Inertia is the physical force that keeps things where they are or keeps them moving in the direction they are travelling

Answer:

Inertia is an object's ability to resist changes in motion. In other words, it is the tendency of an object to continue moving in a straight line at the same speed until friction or some other object slows it down or makes the object change direction.

examples of inertia:

1. A person in a car wants to go outward so due to inertia of direction the upper part of the body will lead to the original direction.

2. A ball rolling down a hill will continue to roll unless friction or another force stops it.
