interfering radical is are anionici radicals like fluoride phosphate oxalate... etc. they form complex compound with third group reagents.. like ammonia chloride,ammonia hydroxide..

Interfering radicals are tartrate, fluoride, borate, phosphate, oxalate, they are also known as anionic radicals. They are usually used to form a complex with 3rd gr group which later leads to incomplete precipitation of 3rd group and results in immature precipitation of 5th group.
