When two quantities are connected, there will be relation between those two.

If one quantity increases with the result of decrease in the another quantity or vice versa, then the two quantities are said to be inversely proportional.

Example:-
•Speed and travel time are inversely Proportional to each other,because the faster we go the shorter the time.

As speed increases, travel time decreases.
As speed decreases,travel time increases.

Let a,b two things then if a decreases with increase in b then a is inversely proportional to b
