Two nuclides are isotones if they have the same neutron number N, but different proton number Z. For example, boron-12 and carbon-13 nuclei both contain 7 neutrons, and so are isotones.

Isoelectonic means having the same numbers of electrons or the same electronic structure. For example, Na+, F- (ions both have 10 electrons): Na+ has 11 protons, a nuclear charge of +11.

Hi

Here is ur answer

Isotones

#These are the atoms of different elements which have the same number of neutrons.

#These show different physical and chemical properties.

Eg: 14↑6↓ C and 16↑ 8↓O

Isoelectronic

#These are having the same numbers of electrons or the same electronic structure.

Eg:  Na+ , Ca+2

Hope it helps u

thanx...bye
