Isotopes :   Isotopes are the atoms with different physical properties but similar chemical properties.   For example : carbon - 12 and carbon- 14 are atoms with similar physical properties but different chemical properties.  Application of isotopes: 1. They are used in medicines 2. They are used for research in metabolic processes.
