ITCZ: Intertropical Convergence Zone, a low pressure belt near the equator is an area where northeast trade winds and southeast trade winds come together and appears as a band.

Mango Shower: It is a time period which shows the occurence of pre-monsoon showers in places like Kerela or Karnataka when ripening of mangoes takes place therefore it is known as 'Mango Showers'

El Nino: -Southern oscillation is a natural event that takes place in Pacific ocean. El Nino is a spanish word meaning 'little girl or boy', it happens when the sea water temperature rises in surface areas of tropical pacific ocean.

Dust Storm: It happens when a strong winds blows and loose the sand or dust from a dry surface.

Kalbaisakhi: Dusty squalls that are followed by thunderstorms and rain during summers in West Bengal is known as Kal-baisakhi.

Blossom Shower: Same as Mango shower

Break in Monsoon: During the monsoon season, there is a period when monsoon trough shifts towards foothills of Himalayas..which leads to sharp decrease in rainfall over most parts of the country. This situation is known as 'Break in Monsoon'
