Anwer:KE: 1- the energy possessed by a body due to its motion is called it's kinetic energy.

2- it occurs only in one form and for doing work it doesn't have to be transformed into another form

PE:1- the energy possessed by a body on account of its specific state or position is called it's potential energy .

2- it occurs in various forms such as gravitational potential energy and electrical potential energy but work is not done till it is transformed into kinetic energy.
