 is also known as Anti-Markonicoff's rule. It is a free radical addition reaction. It states that “ In presence of peroxides when an alkene reacts with HBr the negative part of HBr(Br-) gets attached to carbon having more number of Alpha hydrogens”.

it's Anti Markovnikov rule..
in presence of peroxide the Negative atom attached to the less subsituted carbon atom (less hydrogen atom)
