Uremia is when urine builds up in the blood, and may be caused by kidney failure. Uremia translates into "urine in the blood." The kidneys act as the body's filters, getting rid of waste and potentially dangerous substances that pass through.

Kidney stone: A stone in the kidney or a stone that originates in the kidney but has passed lower down in the urinary tract. Kidney stones are a common cause of blood in the urine and pain in the abdomen, flank, or groin. However, some stones do not.

Kidney Stone :-

(Renal Calculus )

Formed by precipitation of uric acid or oxalate . It causes severe colic pain in the back spread down to thighs. Stone. may pass into the ureter or urinary bladder, may grow and result in severe Pain or blockade.

Uremia :-

Accumulation of urea in blood due to malfunction of kidney. Highly harmful and usually a consequence of kidney /renal failure . In such patients urea can be removed by haemodialysis.
