The Krafft temperature is the minimum temperature at which ionic surfactants, such as sodium lauryl sulphate, form micells. It depends on the nature of hydrophobic groups and ionic composition of the detergent.

The Kraft Temperature is the minimum temperature at which the surfactants form micelles.It is named after German chemist Friedrich  Kraft.Below the kraft temperature ,there is no value for critical micelles concentration (CNC) i.e,micelle can't formed.
