Answer:

Law of conservation of energy states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It can only be transformed from one form to another

Answer:

Energy can neither be created nor be destroyed. We can convert one form of energy to energy

Expression

At top position

P.E=mgh

K.E=0

T.E=mgh+0=mgh

At low position

P.E=0

K.E=1/2mv²

Using equation of motion,

v²=u²+2as

  =2gh

thereforce,

K.E=1/2xmx2xgh

     =mgh

Therefore, Total Energy is conserved at every point for a freefall body
