EXPONENT -

➡Exponent refers to the number of times a number is multiplied by itself .

EXAMPLE - 2^3 which means 2×2×2= 8

LAW OF EXPONENT -

➡According to law of exponent , exponent of numbers are added ,when the numbers are multiplied , subtracted Or divided they raised by still another exponent .

Example -

  • 8^2 = 8 × 8 = 64.
  • 5^1 = 5
  • 3^3 = 3×3×3 =27
