➡️ A solid has a definite shape and volume.
➡️ Aliquid has a definite volume but it takes the shape of a container whereas a gas fills the entire volume of a container.

firstly I would like to define liquids
the distance between atoms in liquid is more than the distance between atoms in solid it has various properties like viscosity, surface tension and hydrostatic pressure
it have a definite volume but it does not have a definite shape
now I would like to define solids
distance between atoms of solid is negligible in comparison to distance between atoms of liquid and gas
there are mainly two types of solids
first is crystalline solid and second is amorphous solid
crystalline solids have specific structure while amorphous solids have no specific pattern or structure
