Literacy rate - It measures the proportion of literate population. It is measured for the age group of 7 yrs and above.

Sex ratio- sex ratio is usually expressed as the number of females per 1000 males.

Birth rate- the number of live births per thousand of population per year.

Death rate- the ratio of deaths to the population of a particular area or during a particular period of time, usually calculated as the number of deaths per one thousand people per year.

Male literacy rate-male literacy rate is the ratio of the total literate male population aged 7 years and above to the total male population in the same age group.

Female literacy rate- female literacy rate is the ratio of the total literate female population aged 7 years and above to the total female population in the same age group.

Rural population- it's total number of citizens including males and females and others living in a village or rural areas. In present times the rural population is declining because people are migrating from rural areas to urban areas.

Urban population- it's total number of citizens including males and females and others living in a big city or town or urban areas. In present times the rural population is declining because people are migrating from rural areas to urban areas. Hence contributing in urban population.
