Define magnetic field lines around bar magnet

when a bar magnet is suspended freely, then it will align itself in a particular direction (i.e. north and south) where the north pole of the magnet points to the north pole of the Earth. Magnetic materials such as iron, nickel, steel etc. are attracted by the magnets.

1)every magnet has two ends :a north (north seeking) pole and a south (south seeking)pole

2)lines of magnetic force may be invisible but they are real.Around a bar magnet , they form a hamburger shape.....the crowd close together Around the poles where the field is strongest.
