It can be easily defined as the no. of magnetic field lines passing through an unit area.

Hey !!

Magnetic Flux through a surface of area A placed in a uniform magnetic field is Φm = B(bar) × A(bar) = BAcosθ , θ being angle between B(bar) and normal to A(bar). If magnetic field is not uniform then Φm = ∫a B(bar) × d(bar) A(bar), where integral extends for whole area A(bar)

The SI unit of magnetic flux is ''WEBER''. Magnetic flux is a scalar quantity ; because of being scalar product of two vectors B(bar) and A(bar).
