main switch is the switch in house which which has the control over electricity in our house if we turn off the main switch then the electricity of the whole house will be struck off it is the switch which stop the current when we want and when we want to floor it will flow it comes from outside and it is the main switch which first destroyed when there is a overloading and short circuit

Main Switch !!

The main switch is provided to cut off the supply to the house whenever required for repair works, etc.

It generally lever operated. When it is switched On , it supplies electricity and when switched off it cuts off the supply of electricity.
