In geometry, a median of a triangle is a line segment joining a vertex to the midpoint of the opposing side, bisecting it. Every triangle has exactly three medians, one from each vertex, and they all intersect each other at the triangle's centroid.

Median is the middle one in the list. For example, in 2, 3, 6, 19, 100, the medium value is 6. Basically, median in a triangle is the line segment that would be joining the vertex of a triangle to the center point on the opposite side. With triangle having three sides, therefore it has three medians.
Properties of median include:
Three medians will be meeting at a common point
Every median is divides the triangle into two triangles while distributing the same area for both
Centroid is the centre of gravity of the triangle.
