if fertilization does not occur the thickening of the uterus along with its blood vessels are shed the bleeding lasts for 4 to 6 days is known as mensuration


During ovulation, a mature egg is discharged by the ovary ready to be fertilized. If there is no fertilization, the uterine lining is shed and blood will be discharged from the body. This is known as a woman's monthly menstrual period, also known as a period
