Hilum

It is a scar or mark left on the seed coat by the former attachment to the ovary wall or the funiculus.

Micropyle

It is located just near to hilum, It is a minute opening in the ovule wall( integument ) through which the pollen tube enters during fertilization. It is a weak spot in the seed coat where the radicle escapes out.
