Minerals:The inorganic element or compounds, which occur naturally in the earth's crust is called Mineral. Example:( CUFeS2 ),cuprite( Cu2O ) etc.are the minerals of coppers.
Ore:The minerals from which a metal can be extracted profitably and conveniently is called an Ore. Example bauxite (Al2O3.2H2O)and Clay(Al2O3.2SiO2.2H2O ) are the minerals of aluminium.
Thus, "every Ore is Minerals but every minerals is not an Ore."
Gangue:The unwanted impurities of sand and rocky materials present in the Ore are known as Gangue. We get a concentrated Ore by removing the Gangue present in it.
Malleable: That can be hit or pressed into shape easily without breaking and cracking.
Ductile:(Of a metal) able to be drawn out into a thin wire.
Anode Mud: A deposit of insoluble residue formed from the dissolution of the anode is commercial electrolysis. Sometimes called Anode Slime.
Galvanisation: Galvanization or Galvanizing is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel or iron, to prevent rusting.the most common method is hot dip Galvanizing ,in which the part are submerged in the bath of molten zinc .
Calcination : The IUPAC define calcination as "heating to high temperatures in air or oxygen."
Roasting: Roasting is the process of in metallurgy in which a sulfied Ore is heated in air .the process may convert a metal sulfide to a metal oxide or to a free metal .
Analgum:A collection of things that have been combined , an assembled to a separate part or qualities .
Hope. this will help you :-)
