Answer:

A spherical mirror is that mirror whose reflecting surface is a part of a hollow sphere of glass. One side of the mirror is polished and reflecting and other side is opaque.

There are two types of mirrors

1. Concave

2. Convex

1. Concave mirror : The mirror in which reflecting surface is towards the centre of the surface whose mirror is a part. It is also known as converging mirror.

2. Convex mirror : The mirror in which reflecting surface is away from the centre of the sphere of which the mirror is a part.

It is known as diverging mirror.
