Hi dear,
Mitosis- Mitosis is therefore,is an equational division because the chromosome numbers in the daughter cells remains the same as that the parent.
Meiosis- Meiosis consists of two successive nuclear divisions and occurs in two phases-meiosis and Mitosis 2.Each phase consist of prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase.
Difference between mitosis and meiosis
metosis
1.Type of reproduction is asexual
2.Numbers of division One
3.Chromosome numbers remains the same
Meiosis
1.Type of reproduction is sexual.
2.Numbers of divisions two.
3.Chromosome numbers reduced by half
THANKS
