Define mixture and the different types of mixture?

mixture can be either homogeneous and heterogeneous.A homogeneous mixture is a type of mixture in which the composition is uniform and very part of the solution has the same properties and a heterogeneous mixture is a type of mixture in which the component can be seen as there are two or more phases present.

MIXTURE:−

=> A material containing two or more substances in any ratio is called a mixture.

=> The properties of mixture are the properties of its constituents.

=> A mixture can be separated into its constituents by simple physical methods.

✔TYPES OF MIXTURE:−

There are two types of mixtures:-

1.) HOMOGENEOUS MIXTURE :-

=> A mixture is said to be homogeneous if it's composition is uniform throughout.

=> For example :- sugar solution and air.

2.) HETEROGENEOUS MIXTURE:-

=> A mixture is said to be heterogeneous of it's composition is not uniform throughout.

=> For example :- soil in water ,the mixture of salt and sugar.
