\large\underline\mathfrak\purple{Molar\:mass}

Mass of 1 mole of a substance i.e. mass of 6.022×10²³ particles is known as molar mass.

Example : Molar mass of carbon = 12g/lol

\large\underline\mathfrak\purple{Formula\:mass\:unit}

The formula mass of a substance is defined as the sum of the atomic masses of constituent atoms in an ionic compound.

Example : Formula mass of NaCl = Atomic mass of Na + Atomic mass of Cl = 23.0u + 35.5u = 58.5u
