Molarity is the ratio of the moles of a solute to the total liters of a solution. The solution includes both the solute and the solvent. Molality, on the other hand, is the ratio of the moles of a solute to the kilograms of a solvent.

Answer:
Molarity : Number of moles of solute per litre of solution. Expressed as moles per litre moles per dm³ or Molar (M).
Molarity changes with change in temperature because volume of the solution changes with change in temperature.
Molality : Molality is a measure of number of moles of solute present in 1 kg of solvent. This contrasts with the definition of molarity which is based on a specified volume of solution. A commonly used unit for molality in chemistry is mol/kg. A solution of concentration 1 mol/kg is also sometimes denoted as 1 molal.
