Mole is the basic SI unit of amount of substance.

For every practical measure of chemical compound,you can use this unit.
It is used in Stochiometric calculations.
Physical chemistry is only described by this unit as it is the basic one.
One mole of any substance is Avogrado's number of representative particles(like atom,molecule,ion etc)
