Moment of force :
1 of a point : the product of the distance from the point to the point of application of the force and the component of the force perpendicular to the line of the distance
2 of a line : the product of the perpendicular distance from the axis to the point of application of the force and the component of the force perpendicular to the line of the distance and in a plane perpendicular to the axis.

Moment of a Force (Torque):

It is equal the product of the magnitude of the force and the perpendicular distance of the line of action of force from the axis of rotation. It is a vector quantity.
