Most Probable Velocity is defined as the velocity with which maximum number of the particles in a gas move with. In a gas there are millions of particles. The speed travelled by the majority of gas particles is defined as Most Probable Speed.
Other two kinds of Velocities are Average Velocity and Root Mean Square Velocity. Average Velocity is the sum of all speeds divided by total number of particles. The square root of the average velocity gives Root Mean Square velocity.
