a body is said to be in motion if it changes its position with respect to surrounding with time. eg÷flying birds, moving car are in motion with respect to surrounding. the quantity which are expressed by magnitude as well as direction are called vector quantity. for eg÷displacement, weight, velocity, etc.

shruti9526: acceleration is defined as the rate of change of velocity with time.mathematically =exhilaration
shruti9526: an object is said to be in motion if it covers equal distance in equal intervals of time.
