A object is said to be in motion when it changes its position with respect to its surrounding.

when a body is changing its position with respect to a stationary object is said to be in motion
there are three type of motion
1. TRANSLATORY when an object is moved along a straight line or in curve

2.ROTATORY when a particle move in concentric circles in a fix axis of motion

3. VIBRATORY when a particle move to or from from it's fix position
