● Motion : - An object is said to be in motion when it changes it's position with time , with reference to its immediate surroundings. Example - Moving of a train.
● Uniform motion : - An object is said to be in uniform motion when it moves along a straight path and covers equal distances in equal intervals of time. Example - Simple pendulum.
● Non - uniform motion : - An object is said to be in non - uniform motion when it does not move along a straight path and covers equal distances in unequal intervals of time. Example - A stone dropped from the top of a building.
