movement of any object from one position to another position with respect to time distance and reference point is known as motion for example suppose a person changes its position with respect to a tree reference point with passage of time in this example person is an object and the tree is a reference point direction is also necessary to locate the object.
uniform motion - a type of motion in which equal distance is covered by an object at equal intervals of time does motion is known as a uniform motion and vice versa is non uniform motion. for example if a car covers one from A to B in 30 seconds and then covers again one from B to C in 30 seconds this is known as uniform motion andif a car covers one metre for me to be in 40 seconds and then cables again funny from B to C in 30 seconds this is known as non uniform motion.
Hope it helps
