Explanation:

An object is said to be in motion if it changes its position with respect to a reference point in its surroundings with the passage of time.

Uniform Motion - When an object covers equal distances in equal intervals of time no matter how small these time intervals maybe, then the object is said to be in uniform motion.

eg- A car moving on a highway

Non Uniform Motion - When an object does not cover equal distances in equal intervals of time no matter how small these time intervals maybe, then the object is said to be in non uniform motion.

eg- A car moving on a busy street.

1. Speed is defined as the distance travelled per unit time.

S.I. unit of speed is m/s.

2.

1. Average speed of an object is defined as the total distance travelled by a body divided by total time taken to travel the distance.

2.When an object covers equal distances in equal intervals of time no matter how small these time intervals maybe, then the object is said have uniform speed. (definition of uniform speed and uniform motion is the same)

hope this helps you.....
