Motor Neurons

Answer:

A neuron that carries motor impulses from the central nervous system to specific effectors are known as motor neurons.

The effectors can be muscles, glands or any other effector tissue. These neurons transmit impulses from the spinal cord to skeletal and smooth muscles and therefore control all the voluntary and involuntary muscle muscle movements.

So, we can easily say that motor neurons are those neurons in the spinal cord that control all the voluntary and involuntary muscle movements in our body.
