HEYA MATE :

When a number is multiplied by the another no. and we get 1 as the answer.. Then the another number is known as multiplicative identity of the first number.

FOR EXAMPLE :

5 \: is \: the \: multiplicative \: \\ identity \: of \: \frac{1}{5} becoz. \\

= \frac{1}{5} \times 5 \\ = \frac{1}{5} \times \frac{5}{1} \\ = \frac{5}{5} \\ = 1

ANOTHER EXAMPLE :

 \frac{5}{8} is \: the \: multiplicative \: \\ identity \: of \: \frac{8}{5} .becoz

 = \frac{8}{5} \times \frac{5}{8} \\ = \frac{40}{40} \\ = 1
