Natural vegetation refers to a plant community, which has grown naturally without human aid and has been left undisturbed by humans for a long time. This is termed as a virgin vegetation. Thus, cultivated crops and fruits, orchards form part of vegetation but not natural vegetation

Natural vegetation means the plants that haven’t been grown by the humans and produced naturally. They have been left undisturbed for a period of long time by humans.  

The five varieties of Natural vegetation forests are:

  • Tropical Evergreen Rain Forests: Trees, creepers  and shrubs are species of  these forests.

  • Tropical Deciduous Forests: Teak, Bamboos, sal, shisham, are species of those forests.  

  • Dry Deciduous Forests: Sal, Peepal, and Neem are species of these forests.

  • Semi Desert: Silver fir, pines are the trees of these forests.

  • Mangrove Forests: Palm, coconut, agar, grow in some other places of these forests.
