Reaction between an acid and a base to form salts and water is called neutralisation reaction.


Ex : HCl + NaOH -----> NaCl + H2O


Here, reaction of hydrochloric acid with sodium hydroxide results in the formation of sodium salts ( NaCl ) along with water.

when acids and bases react with each other then neutralise to form their salts with water

some of the common example of salts are nacl which equal to NaOh+hcl
