Hey mate!!

⚫The reaction between acids and bases is called neutralization reaction. Generally in neutralization reaction salt and water are formed as products.

Acid + Base →Salt + Water

⚫During neutralization reactions heat energy evolves out, so they are considered as exothermic reactions.

⚫example

HCl + NaOH → NaCl + H2O

CH₃COOH + KOH → CH₃COOK + H₂O
