Noise, in the context of industrial noise, is hazardous to a persons hearing because of its loud intensity through repeated long-term exposure. In order for Noise to cause Hearing impairment for the worker, the noise has to be close enough, loud enough and the listener has to be exposed for long enough.

Hey mate here is your answer

✏ The sound which is unpleasant to hear is known as noise.

The national standard for noise is decibel.

Extra :- In 1972, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health developed an 85 A-weighted decibel recommended exposure level to reduce the risk of hearing loss from occupational noise exposure. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration adopted this as a legal standard for workplace hearing protection.
