across the shock wave, the static pressure, temp, and gas density almost increases increadibly if shock wave is perpendicular to flow of wave it's normal wave

fanno line is adiabatic flow through the constant area where effect of the friction is considered.

Rayleigh line it refers to the frictionless flow of the water that is non adiabatic flow through the constant area where effect of the friction is not considered.
