a noun is a parts of speech.and parts of speech simply refer to type of word.<br />in other sense..<br />it is a word that identities a person ,place thing ,animal or idea. <br />example. ram ,delhi, book, lion etc
whereas a verb is a word that expresses action or a state of being. like running ,jumping, eating, playing, working etc.
