(1) Autotrophic nutrition:- Mode of nutrition in which organisms make their food independently through the process of photosynthesis. Example:- Green plants and autotrophic bacteria.

(2)Heterotrophic Nutrition:- Mode of nutrition in which Organisms are dependent on autotrophs directly or indirectly. Example:- Spider and plasmodium.
