even numbers

An even number is an integer that can be divided by two and remain an integer or has no remainder. An integer that is not an even number is an odd number. If an even number is divided by two, the result is another integer. On the other hand, an odd number, when divided by two, will result in a non-integer.

.odd numbers

Any integer that cannot be divided exactly by 2 is an odd number. The last digit is 1, 3, 5, 7 or 9. Example: −3, 1, 7 and 35 are all odd numbers. Odd numbers are in between the even numbers
