from the earth

Explanation:

Parallax is a displacement or difference in the apparent position of an object viewed along two different lines of sight, and is measured by the angle or semi-angle of inclination between those two lines.

As Earth and Mars move in their separate orbits, they never come closer than 35 million miles to each other. Saturn, the most distant planet known when Cassini was alive, is around 900 million miles away.

Parallax method is a means of measuring the distance between heavenly bodies. For example In astronomy parallax method is used to determine the distance between two stars.

To determine the distance, astronomers use parallax method.:

Being at a point despite of all the rotation and revolution of earth, we can see the alliance various angles and distances(just by sitting at one point, and with mechanical telescope). Astronomers use this and measure the position is the start from all the different angles and places, during earth's revolution. Now what they do is calculated and distinguish the distance between the positions of stars, and angles of earth during that position.
