Parasites are smaller than their host organism and can reproduce quicker, causing more damage to the host. Endoparasites live inside the host's body and Ectoparasites live on the outside of the body..

Parasitism is the association of two organisms in which one is benefitted and the other is harmed. The organisms benefitted is called parasite while the other harmed is called Host.

Usually parasite is of two types:-

Ectoparasite :- the organisms which resides of host body temporary and permanently is known as ectoparasite.

e.g Lice/bug

Endoparasite :- the organisms which lives inside body of host is known as endoparasite.

e.g entamoeba histologica.
